I'm Alan Cordwell and I live in the City of Sheffield, in the UK County of South Yorkshire. My passion is IT: whether it be hardware or software. On this web site you will find comprehensive information about all of what I do; please feel free to browse around.
I wrote my first computer program at age 18 on the IBM System 370/135 at Sheffield City Polytechnic as it was then. The first course assignment was to write a program to solve quadratic equations. I still have the listing and the program on tickertape somewhere. Ever since then though, I have programmed for a hobby until in February 2014 when I left my full time job to focus on my business, which had built up to the point where it was occupying all of my weekends and evenings.
Since then, my business has taken off dramatically proving the old adage that if you love what you do, and look after your customers, then you will succeed. We are all in business at the end of the day to earn money so that we can eat and do the things in life we like to do; but for me it is just as rewarding to see that 'Wow!' moment on a client's face when they first see what I have done for them.
I will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have, or to quote for work. To get in touch, please feel free to call me on 07425 166256 or simply use the contact form.
